Many people think about how to market our product which has been given in various marketing competitions I will help you out.

When ever you think about participating in various marketing competitions you have to do the following things,

PRELIMINARY TEST:

 You have to attend the first preliminary test. This test will be a written exam. You will be given a certain set of questions you have to answer for those questions.

THE CATEGORY OF QUESTIONS:

    The question paper will mainly consist of twenty questions.

v     First five will be based upon ITCOMPANY Ceo,s.

v     Second five will be based upon ITCOMPANY Slogans.

v     Third five will be based upon ITCOMPANY Logos.

v     Last five will be based upon the general questions.

Note: The above mentioned are IT company, it need not be only IT company it may be of any company.

You have to welversed in all these categories so that you can attend the test successfully.

HOW TO ATTEND THE EXAM:

             You will be given at least 30minutes for the written test, but note carefully you should not take all those 30 minutes in answering the questions, since the timing is very important in the marketing event. As soon as you completed answering the questions you have to handover the answer script to the concerned staff or students.

  I will give you an example which I have faced in a college

Myself and my friend have to write the preliminary exam, but my friend went to attend another event I went to attend the test. Moreover I did not prepare for the test thinking my friend is with me, but I attended the test out of 20 questions I was able to answer only six to seven, but I handed over the test paper to the staff within three minutes and came. I did not worry for the remaining questions, but many competitors where writing the test for neatly 20minutes, but I have selected for the finals which consists of five teams.

 The timing is very important.

THE TEAM:

           The number of teams and the number of team members will vary depending upon the college. Basically there may be only two to three members per team.

           The final event will be filtered to five teams.

EVENT:

          When you have been selected for the finals you will be given the topic five minutes before and you have to market the product immediately.

           You will be given at maximum 10minutes among which you have to do the following things.

• You have to introduce your self as a professional of the particular concern and introduce about your concern for one minute.

• Your have to tell the product name and then put a small skit or advertisement for three minute. It may be in Tamil or English. Totally it will take four minutes.

• Your have to explain about your product for three minute and explain the audience how you will compete the market from other competitors.

• Finally you have to answer the questions for three minutes. This session is very important which will unique from others.
